Day 28
Today's nails were inspired by.... duh... BACON!! Who doesn't love bacon, in sandwiches, with eggs, as band-aids, people have made it into everything from lampshades to bikinis, so in honor of my love and devotion for bacon, I chose to do bacon fingernails. :)
I used China Glaze White on White
as a base with Zoya Charlize on top for an off-white 'fat' color. I then painted on the dark red with Urban Vibe (from Wet Seal), in Spellbind, and then the lighter meat color is Zoya Gretchen. :)
Mmmmm. Going to try not to bite my nails today! :-P

The skin around your cuticles and nails looks trashed, probably from taking nail polish off and putting it on so often. Take care of that skin using Vitamin E oil and creams to have a beautiful looking manicure.

To be honest I would not know if they were inspired by bacon if you have not told so in your title. It is weird because bacon normally automatically brings quotes of fat. But I am re-assuringly liking it.
ReplyDeleteSomehow I see more of a strawberry milk candies instead of bacon in those nails. They are done pretty nicely though I must say. I will take this picture to my nail shop to get the same one done.

ReplyDeleteUhm, I just did a search on "bacon nails" and looked in google images. There are several pictures of the nails Melissa did, without a watermark. Accusing anyone of this is wrong without proof. Both Melissa and Kandee are both talented women, and Kandee did comply when asked to (she probably made a mistake, we all make them and just because someone is well known don't meant that they're perfect, nor should we expect them to be.)With all this said, I have to admit, once a picture is posted online, you do lose control of it. It makes me wonder why you didn't ask http://walyou.com/bacon-nails-design/ to put the watermark up, especially when you have them listed as a link to here...
