Who'd have thought that a song would inspire a nail design? Well, whether you like the Fred Astaire version or the Taco version, this is a great song, and it DID inspire today's nail design, spats!
I used Sally Hansen Professional Lavender Cloud as a base, with American Apparel Hassid for the black of the shoes and the buttons. Topped with 2 coats of Seche Vite top coat.

serial numbers, money (coins and notes), basic love hearts, beach themed (balls, sand, sun, surfboards, etc), night sky (stars, moon), telephone (on left hand have a person on little finger, phone on ring finger, curly cord on the middle index and thumb. right hand have the same so when you hold your hands up its like they're on the phone to each other) :D

For some reason, I'm also reminded of one of those early cartoons- where all of the animals/insects bounce around to a jazz soundtrack as they industriously perform some task- I seem to remember spats being sported by a large, important beetle (or grasshopper?) Anyway, as usual, thanks for the mental image/brain vacation!!!
