I've Got the Blues?
Thursday, July 1, 2010
Today's nails were 'inspired' by the fact that I bought a couple of new polishes on clearance today at Sally Beauty Supply, and I thought they'd look pretty marbled together, along with Zoya Charla, one of the new glitter polishes from their Flash & Sparkle Collection.
I used Zoya Charla, Orly Bailamos, and Orly La Playa marbled. Topped with 2 coats of Seche Vite top coat.
I've decided that I'm definitely going to do a tutorial. What design would you like to see? Post your replies in the comments! :) Thanks!!

ReplyDeletethank you so much for reading my comment
i love your nail design
thank you so much for posting such cool designs
The tie dye design you did awhile ago! :)
ReplyDelete& Could you show us your brushes/where you got them? :D
Where are your brushes from?????
ReplyDeleteBailamos was the base color?
ReplyDeleteI would like to see a nail care tutorial + any of the designs where you paint faces and other complicated figures...
ReplyDeleteIt would be cool if you could do a tutorial on the nails that are complicated with faces and whatnot. Like the Toy Story 3 nails!
ReplyDeleteyes, i would also like you to do the tie die nails! but, its so hard to choose witch one to do.
ReplyDeleteA tutorial on shading would be great. The intricate designs, like faces or those amazing flamingos, are the ones that really astound me.
ReplyDeleteLooks great - I'm glad Charla can work with marbling. Definitely gonna have to try that.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see how you do the sponging gradient effect. Everytime you do it I absolutely love it but when I try to duplicate it, it never works. What kind of sponges do you use? Mine are always either to hard, too soft, too porous etc...
ReplyDeletei love teal <3

I would NEED a tutorial for marbling. Everytime I try to marble, the nail polish doesn't spread and I mess up and YouTube videos just don't answer my questions lol
ReplyDeleteHarry Potter nails!! That would be AWESOME!!
ReplyDeleteI think you should do a tutorial of the Michael Jackson nails. Aaaaaaand a tutorial of your favorite nails you have done!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous..!
ReplyDeleteYes, please do a tutorial! Please! LOL!

Beautiful color combo on these nails!!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a tutorial on any nails where you hand paint an intricate design. I'm amazed at your skills, and would love to see them in action!
I WOULD LOVE HARRY POTTER NAILS!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletea marble one would be nice
ReplyDeleteA tutorial on marbling would be great!
ReplyDeleteNo marbling because there is too many youtube videos on it already. Show something with the hard stuff that isn't shown on youtube already, something like faces and shading. Something that you have to use brushes on.
ReplyDeleteI want to learn your marbling effect!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteA tutorial on anything would be great!! My only request is that you make it a YouTube vid because my computer can only watch YouTube and not flash or something. Thanks a ton! Love your work!

A marbling tutorial would be awesome!
ReplyDeleteThose nails would make me want to go to the Caribbean or Croatia or somewhere else that has gorgeous blue water...
ReplyDeleteI'll second both the marbling and the sponging requests, but I'd also love to see how you do your "graphics intense" nails. They are little paintings on each nail, and I for one would love to see how you create them! (not that I have a hope in Hades of duplicating them, but I'd still appreciated seeing the process!)
Please keep up the phenomenal work-
rock on, talent queen!
er, appreciate...
ReplyDeleteMost definitely the marbling and sponging techniques!
ReplyDeletewow this is so awesome!!! TUTORIAL THIS PLEASE! :D
ReplyDeleteBeautiful...tutorial please!!!!
