Would You Like Fries With That?

Day 59

Today's nails are what I had for dinner last night (and might have again tonight- I love burgers!!) I just thought that it'd be a funny manicure, so there you have it!

Bon appetit!

I used a franken for the base made from a cheapie bottle of white polish (93¢), 1/4 bottle of Zoya Dea and a few drops of Zoya Pippa. I really need to find a goldy yellow creme. Suggestions? I stippled Zoya Dea with a fluffy brush for the top of the 'bun', Nubar Milk Chocolate Creme mixed with China Glaze Liquid Leather for the burger, Zoya Pippa mixed with Sally Hanson Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in 06 Sun Kissed for the cheese, China Glaze White on White for the onions, Essie Alligator Purse mixed with China Glaze Salsa for the tomatoes, OPI Green-wich Village for the lettuce, Nubar Forest for the pickles on a few of them, and then the franken for the sesame seeds. Topped it all off with 2 luxurious coats of Seche Vite top coat.

Would you like to super-size that?

  5. Very cute! I love all your nail designs and I look forward to them everyday. How do you get that 'gap'? For the life of me, the polish just goes right up to the cuticle. It's frustrating to make my nails look even decent compared to you and your blog counterparts. But anyway, enough rambling. Great nails. Keep 'em coming! :) -Steph

  8. Is it ever a bit heartbreaking to clean the polish off your nails after you've done a particularly intricate design, or just one that you really like?
