  4. Hi! I have been following you blog since around May and I always find it so inspiring!

If I had the nail art pens I would use them to draw hockey jerseys on my sister and my nails. We do this already but so far have only managed stripes and numbers on the base color. I would go for names and logos if I had the pens!

    Thanks,
    Melanie

  7. I've been following it since you started posting on Twitter, almost the entire year. I'd draw something from your past examples. Been wanting to try something beyond solid colors. As it is, I'm almost the only guy in pdx doing his nails at all!

    ReplyDelete
  8. I have been reading your fantastic blog since Geekologie featured your bacon manicure. The first thing I would draw on my nails with the art pens would be hand drawn peacock feathers.

  9. I can't remember how long I've been following! More than half the time. But I don't specifically remember.

I've been trying to do Halloween designs lately but I don't have anything like this (and I can't afford them since I'm unemployed) and it's super frustrating. So the first things I'd use them for are spider webs, jack-o-lanterns, bats and black cats!

  10. I have been following the Daily Nail since the bacon nail art, and if I could use the pens to do anything on my nails it would be the same sort of scribbles that I draw in my agenda when I am extremely bored (they are hard to manage with a brush lol)

  11. I have been following the blog since the Christmas nails with the LED things (following also on Twitter). With the pen, I would draw hearts (because of my boyfriend) and patterns like stripes and circles. =]

  12. Hi! I've been following using Google Friend Connect as Jennys$1983 for about nine months, and I'd love some decent nail art pens instead of my craptastic ones to try to draw some of Paul Kidby's art from the Discworld novels by Terry Pratchett, plus associated symbols - especially the ones that became jewellery, like the Turtle Moves symbol and the "Not what a horse look like, but what a horse be" necklace.

    Thanks! :)

  13. i have been following since July 20, 2010 with GFC of Ali, today with alikat789...trying to unsubscribe with Ali, i would use the pens for creating spiderwebs, or freehand flowers like a rose or daisy or lily(my favorite)

    ReplyDelete
  14. I have been following since I came across you on twitter, probably about a month or two ago. As for what I would try with the pens, I'd love to do a Halloween look (spider webs or mummies).

Also, sending my positive thoughts to your friend.

  22. I have been following the Daily Nail for a few months now. If I could draw anything with the nail art pens it would probably be holiday designs. Pumpkins, ghosts, spiders, leaves, etc for fall. :)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hi! I've been following for about 6 months and I would draw little stars with the pens. I'm not very artistic, so that'd be where I'd start.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I've been following via Google Friend Connect for about 4 months now. I would draw cute things associated with Paris. Eiffel tower, fluer de lis, champagne etc.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well, I have been following your site since the begining. We are both members of the Specktra community and it has been so fun to go on this journey with you. Looking back at past nail designs sometimes is nostaligic, like, OH EM GEEE, that seems like it was posted 2 days ago lol. Your blog is the one I checked daily, along and I have it as a favorite tab on my internet.

Anywayyy, if I win, I would love to paint The Hungry Catapiller (from the children's book). I am a makeup artist going to school to be a 2nd grade teacher and I thought since each part of the body is round, it would look great as nail art!

    ReplyDelete
  26. I've been following since today
If I could draw anything with the nail art pens it would probably be pictures of my son and husband, or..art like Monet's Paint

  27. 2-3 weeks. have been interested in this paint pen but have been too cheap to spend the 7-8 bucks it goes for. If i could draw anything i'd like to attempt to draw all my pets on my finger nails... hah would be pretty tough considering i can barely draw stick figures :)

I think I'd do a plaid pattern- I've been watching a lot of "My So-Called Life" in the last few days, and am seriously itching for a girlified Jordan Catalano-esqe mani, now that you've got me thinking of it!

  29. Hi,

I've been following via Google for several months now but not sure on exactly how many. If I were to win said prize I would first have to play around with detail work that I currently have a hard time accomplishing with detail brushes. After that I think that I'd have to go for leaves for fall, the vein work, outline etc. Ooo, and then snowflakes maybe, or maybe a dragon, I'd love to do a dragon on my nails...

    ReplyDelete
  30. I've been following since last October, almost from the start! You've inspired me to keep up my own nails, though they are not nearly as impressive as yours! I',d use the pens to do an awesome plaid mani. :)

    ReplyDelete
  31. I have been following The Daily Nail blog for nine months (but I went back and read all the posts from the beginning), through Google Friend Connect! If I had the Sally Hansen nail art pens, I would draw the characters of the anime "InuYasha", 'cause it's my favorite anime!

Sorry if my english sucks, OK? I love all your nail arts, they are awesome! I tried some of then, but it never looks good, 'cause I can't find a place to buy some nail art pens or nail art stripers here where I live... BTW, I'm so happy that you finally finished the challenge! Congratulations! Kisses.

  32. I've been following the blog for probably 6 months. I will admit, I've used nail art pens once - my first day at Yahoo, I painted my nails purple and did the Y! logo on my thumbs. However, I totally need more colors and I will draw dinosaurs :)

    ReplyDelete
  33. I've been following you on GFC as Cheryl for about two months now, when I started my nail polish addiction. I love how you manage to draw so well and draw so many characters and designs, it's really incredible! If I had nail art pens, I'd draw random law related words to get me in the mood to study. But that's boring. For something fun I'd draw the characters from the movie Up! It's one of my favourites at the moment.

    ReplyDelete
  34. 5 months or so and counting... I would improve my nail henna. Nail henna is fun.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I've been following you since about Valentine's day!

If I won the Sally Hansen nail art pens I'd probably draw lots of detailed script-like images. I'm really like doing the more abstract sort of nail art (personal preference for myself) so I'd like to do more detail work. Maybe a nice damask print or some old school font. Yeah! Ooooh I'm excited and I haven't even won yet!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'm a follower since yesterday i think, that sounds pretty dumb. .

  40. I've been reading your blog for around 6 months now, but didn't think to click the "follow" button until last week :O sorry...
The first thing I would attempt with the nail art pens would be a plaid pattern. Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I've been following since the bacon nails!

I would draw a damask pattern because I love period dresses made with that fabric! They are just so lavish and detailed.

    ReplyDelete
  42. i believe I started following in August or July...but I went back through all your old entries. It took some time but it was worth seeing all your fun nail designs!

    ReplyDelete
  43. I have been following Daily Nail for a month, through both blogspot and twitter. I would draw...a letter on each finger (COMMUNITY) and the nbc logo at the last finger. 49. Wow, I really don't know how long I've been following. I think since the bacon nails. (They showed up on Geekologie and I got lured in and couldn't stop checking back each day to see what the theme of the day was here.)

If I had these pens... Wow, there's a lot I'd like to draw with them. The first thing that comes to mind would be kids' drawings. You know, the crayon-like drawings that are wicked awesome and whimsical. Or something equally as fun and light-hearted.

    ReplyDelete
  50. I've been following for about 6 months!=D
It's exciting seeing someone so enthusiastic about nail art, like me!
Since sally hansen pens cannot be found where I live, I would probably do a design I've been DYING to do, the faces of the member of linkin park, my favorite band who I've been listening to since I was 7!!!AWESOMENESS

    ReplyDelete
  51. I've been following you since february or so (but have of course seen all your entries.. a couple of times.. haha)
I do nail art, but with a brush and sometimes is wished I had a pen - especially for outlining.. So I would probably use this one for all of my nail art.. But for a long time I've wanted to try to draw bits and pieces of my tattoo on my nails - it has a lot of cool patterns. But it's too difficult with a brush..

I'm glad you are continuing this blog even though you made your goal :)

    ReplyDelete
  52. I've followed for a looooooooong time. Love the blog and you are so talented.

  102. I've been reading this blog for about a month or so, I discovered it one day through the TODAY Show link while bored at work. :) Once I realized what it was, though, I went through the whole thing from Day 1, and I did share the Shel nails from last week on Facebook (loved that!!)

I would draw books, or symbols of books, on my nails. A Scarlet "A" for "The Scarlet Letter"; a purple stripy nail with a grin for "Alice In Wonderland"; "HP" in the Harry Potter font, or a lightning bolt; stuff like that.

    ReplyDelete
  103. I have been following The Daily Nail blog since july or august by simply having saved the link on my favourites! I would draw a beach with palm trees, a sun and whatever else fits into the picture ;)

    ReplyDelete
  104. I've just started following your blog but it has been in my bookmarks for about 9 months! I access it every single day right after I check my emails (my little routine)!
I would draw Jack'o'lanterns for halloween!!!

    ReplyDelete
  105. 1) Hullo! I've been following your blog for 340 days methinks (ever since the nummy bacon nails!) via RSS subscription and GFC.

    2) I suck at drawing but I'd still go kindergarten on my nails and scribble what I could with the pens :)

    ReplyDelete
  106. I follow only the blog, I guess since it's been 6 months or so. Well, I have 7 friends and we are very close they are my life and I think I'd do on each nail something that remind me them.

  109. I've been a follower for a long time! :)

I would draw Jack-o-Lanterns in different colors on my nails with my Sally Hansen nail art pens. :)

    ReplyDelete
  110. I actually have only been officially following your blog for a few days, because I'd forgotten to do that. However, I've been faithfully returning to your blog pretty much every day since about May. I went back to day 1, read every post, and fell in love. With my pens, I'd draw butterfly wings. I haven't been happy with how they come out when I use a brush, and I'd like to see if a pen makes it any nicer. :)

    ReplyDelete
  111. Not a follower for very long but have been reading for a few months. Love your art and blog!

I'd use the pens to do crazy manis for upcomming hockey games and other events.

    Cheers :)

  112. Hi!! I'm following since yesterday! But I love your work it's pretty amazing! I would draw some colorful cupcakes! I love then!

    ReplyDelete
  113. I've been following you since you were on the Today show. I've loved your work so much that I try to do my own nails some of the ways you have. I even went out and bought some Konad plates!!! I get alot of compliments on my own nails. You have soooo inspired me. I think I'd want to draw a different fall colored leaf on each nail. Fall is my favorite time! I can't wait to see what you come up with for the following year. CHEERS!

    ReplyDelete
  114. I have been following this blog since one of your designs got featured on the FY!Nail Art tumblr though I only just now have clicked to follow it officially. :P The stuff you come up with is crazy awesome!

With some nail art pens (as opposed to my current tools of paintbrushes & toothpicks) I'd first try some blood dripping tips for Halloween! Or maybe some lace or bows? OOH but I've always wanted to try a dragon or dragon eyes! And they'd be super helpful to make evenly-sized polka dots for once...

  115. I follow your blog since about December last year and I would love to win the pen because I love doing designs on my nails and this is what I lack, not only because I bought so far here in Brazil, as they are imported cost up to 70 reais, or approximately 42 dollars, which is utter nonsense, since there in the USA cost about $ 5 ... :(
    Kiss, Bruna :D

  116. I'm a follower on GB. I have been following your journey for 257 days. My step daughter and I check your blog every morning. I would use the pen for highlights and mostly shading. I have noticed that I don't have a super fine nail brush. The tip on this brush looks pretty fine. Thanks again for a great giveaway.

    ReplyDelete
  121. NUMBER 1: I have been an official follower since August, but I've been checking the site daily since January - I love the inspiration!
NUMBER 2: The first thing I would want to try would be cherries, b/c I can't get the bundle monster cherry image to come out right, and freehanding it w/ the big brushes doesn't work so well.

    ReplyDelete
  122. I've been following since way back in late winter, early spring...love it! :) I would use the nail art pen to let my children put their own unique design on my nails to give me a smile throughout the day!! :)

    ReplyDelete
  123. I've been a follower of The Daily Nail for eight months now, only on Twitter. If I had the pen... I would draw the logo of House M.D.! *-*

    ReplyDelete
  124. I've only been a follower for a few days! But I'm so mad that I didn't find this blog earlier!!

I would totally use the pen to do the mouth of a Jack-O-Lantern! It's so hard with a brush for a beginner like me!

    ReplyDelete
  125. I've been a follower for about a week. I found you through MUA and fell in love with your artistic skills :p
I would use the nail art pen to draw the cast and logo of The Big Bang Theory! =D

    ReplyDelete
  126. I've been following The Daily Nail for about 5 months. I didn't have an acount until recently though so I had this site saved in my favorites and I clicked on it every day to see the new manicure.

I would draw all kinds of things on my nails! I've been wanting one of those nail art pens for a while now but I can't seem to find them anywhere. I love doing zebra striped nails, but it's really hard to do with just toothpicks and paintbrushes never seem to work for me. I would also try to draw some of the amazing things you've done on this blog. I bet I could do the John Lennon nails with it.

    ReplyDelete
  127. I've been reading The Daily Nail for about six months, and I love it! If I had the nail pens I'd most likely draw little tiny octopuses. I'd try anyway! (Only fifteen, don't have that much practice!) I'd just experiment and have fun~

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  132. Okay I have been following since December 20th of last year...

I would use the fancy pens to make puzzle piece nails.

    This is fun.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I've been a follower of your dailynail on twitter for 8 months now!! I <3 it! I totally would attempt to do the Tinkerbell you did on your nails!! <3 Tinkerbell!

    ReplyDelete
  134. Well I've been following through google for a few months not sure exactly but it might be four months or so. Um, if I could draw something with these nail art pens I would definitely try to draw a portrait of my husband and some of my family members on my nails. I often search google images to inspire me and once I came across this woman who did all her children on her nails which I thought was really sweet yet ambitious. I'd also try to do a really cool peacock feather nail design and a digital camo design. Although I've already done the camo before, only on my ring fingers, it was just so time consuming using a dotting tool. I'm sure these would make the job much faster

    ReplyDelete
  135. Hi! Ive been following your blog since late november of 2009 (i saw it on geekologie). With a nail art pen i would make skittles nails and m&m nails! They would look so cute!

    ReplyDelete
  136. I follow you on here and twitter. I just started following you but I discovered you blog last july and have been coming back every day. ive looked at every single nail design you did. ReplyDelete
  137. I've been following The Daily Nail for a long time now. I remember finding the website around a year ago and simply bookmarking it.

If I had these pens, I would definitely do more nail geekery. Pokeballs, Triforce from Zelda, Mario (Especially since his birthday is coming up). I really enjoy making my nails unique like that since I work at a GameStop. :D

    ReplyDelete
  138. I've been fallowing your blog since 12th September since I saw an article about your Marilyn Monroe's nails in our local Cosmo.
I would draw Colosseum, Eiffel tower and other sightseeings that I've seen. :)

    ReplyDelete
  139. gee, how long have I been following? Over 6 months I think. hmm I would draw Christmasy stuff-a little tree, some bulbs, holly, and gifts. I'm in a holiday mood right now.

    ReplyDelete
  140. I've been reading for months and following just for a bit. I'd draw geometric designs - I'm not so good with my left hand, so it has to be a basic design!

    ReplyDelete
  141. I have only be following for a little over a month. I'm sad that the 365 days are already over! I would draw my horse on my nails that way he would always be with me!

  149. I think i've been following for almost the whole year! I have the white pen like that one pictured and i like to draw random abstract art.. lines, circles, tips, hearts.. whatever. Left hand always looks 100 times better than the right..

    ReplyDelete
  150. I've been checking your site for months now on the daily and I adore all of your nail art/swatches. :D With those pens, I would start a personal project of mine: to draw all of the Pokemon ever existed. O: <3

    ReplyDelete
  151. I've been following since you had that interview on Today I believe or it was MSN, I can't remember which, so about 4 months maybe?

If i could draw anything, I would attempt to draw Jolly Rogers (pirate flags) on my nails. I'm not sure how they'd turn out, but that would pretty awesome.

    ReplyDelete
  152. I just created my own blog today so that I could participate in your giveaways, but I've been following your blog (sans my own blog) for about two months since I discovered it :]

I would draw Harry Potter glasses on my nails with the pens.

    ReplyDelete
  153. HI! :)
I have been following you (that sounds stalkerish) since seeing your nails on the Today Show site. I immediately found your blog and started at day 1 and read every single entry, then went through them again with my 13-year-old old daughter and we discussed our favorites (thanks for that mother-daughter time by the way)

As for what I would do... I am huge into themes...Today, we had a local Chili Cook-Off festival and I would have drawn the ingredients to chili on white nails if I had the pens. For Halloween, I plan to do blood red tips with the Vampira Eyeko polish for the rest of my nail. We are big time into our School teams (the Gosnell Pirates) so of course game nights would have to have pirate themes! Most of all though, time with my girls having a manicure night. Perfect time spent :)

    Keep up the awesome work!!

    ReplyDelete
  154. I've been following the daily nail since i saw pictures of your nails on MSN news. Your nails are amazing and its given me so many great ideas for my own nails. I made my own blog just to follow yours!!
With the pen, i would use it for all the little details for my nails. Like I would use them to make owls on my nails, on top of a greyish polish. :)

    ReplyDelete
  155. Hi well ive been following yu for about 4 months now.

Well since rite now im working on doing Pink Ribbons on my nails for Breast Cancer Awareness i would try to do that w/ tha nail art pen. I think it will be much easyer than doing it w/ tna brush.

    ReplyDelete
  156. I'm a nail junkie and have been following your blog for about a month now....this is one of the few nail products I have yet to try!

    ReplyDelete
  157. I've been reading since the bacon nails on Geekologie.. only following for a short time (I'm new to the whole blog reading thing)

I would love to try and draw some anime characters.. my left hand would be alright.. but I don't know how you do that detailed work with your off hand! I can do lines and dots.. and I did a spider recently.. But it is soo much harder ;)

    ReplyDelete
  158. I've been following the daily nail fora while now and I love the designs. They are all so inspiring.

I would use these pens for very small detail work and lines. Its easier to draw lines with a marker for me than a striper brush. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  159. I have been following The Daily Nail for about a month through Google friend connect, and I love all the detail you do! I would probably draw flowers, small details, and I would draw Halloween themed items, but also Christmas themes. Right now I am working on drawing little Frankenstein's nails, and these would make it so much easier!

    ReplyDelete
  160. I've been following since about December I think. There are many things that I would like to draw on my nails but I'm not a great artists. If I was I would draw my two Scottish terriers. As I can't draw I would probably try to do simple designs like maybe spiderwebs for Halloween and ornaments for Christmas.

PS You totally rock for making the year mark! Most impressive!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  165. I have been following you since October fourteenth, which ironically, was the day that you hit a year! I love all of your designs, and can't choose which one to try! I would use the pen to try to write some lyrics to one of my favorite songs because I love music and think that that would be a cool design.

    ReplyDelete
  166. I have been reading The Daily Nail since the crayola nails day. My niece actually posted a link for my sister-in-law that day on Facebook. I've been hooked ever since :P
I would draw something musical or Disney-fied.

    ReplyDelete
  167. I have been reading since the daily show and i would draw the designs that are harder for me to draw with my brushes like tiny little flowers and this design i've been wanting to do for awhile its like 80s looking with abstract boxes and different colors (:

    ReplyDelete
  168. Although I have only been following the blog for about a month, during that time I have read every single post. If I had some nail art pens, I would draw a graphic-type horse design on my nails (something like what you did with John Lennon's face a few days ago, but with the outline of a horse's head instead).

    ReplyDelete
  169. nooooooooooo, don't stop it!!!!!! you are my inspiration!!!!!! now I have tons of different nail polish colors because of your blog!!!!!

  170. I have been reading for the past 3 months or so. I have really enjoyed seeing what you can do to your nails! You inspire me!
I have acrylic on my finger nails, but do my own toes & have started doing little designs here and there. I would draw a breast cancer awareness ribbon with maybe some sparkly dots inside for some flare. =)

  171. Hi, I'm from Brazil, and accompany The nail daily for 365 days. Watch our website every day, my friends and I love the the site and started doing nail art too. And tabem created a blog talking about nail art, which only Brazil. Well, I draw on my nails a platypus (my favorite animal). I love the blog ♥

    ReplyDelete
  172. I have been following your blog since February and I actually found your blog while I was searching for reviews of Sally Hansen Nail Art pens! :)

If I had the nail art pens I would draw an abstract design with polka dots and swirls.

    ReplyDelete
  173. I've been a follower for a month or two now! :) You've inspired me to get back in the habit of doing my nails and particularly helped me venture out of the 'usual'.

I would draw a fun Halloween design! Maybe a black cat, spooky bats, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Hey!!
I've been a reader since the lamp nail art that you drew of your grandad and a follower from about 30 seconds ago (I had to make a gmail account!). I've looked at all of your pictures and reviews though =D
Hmmm, what to do with the pen.... probably try and draw something easy, like the M & M nails you did awhile ago, but fail misserably xD
I have 2 nail polishes, but I'm trying to find good cheap stuff and one day (hopefully!!) I will have a collection as big as yours and talent to match!! MWAHAHAAA!! (Note the hopefully!!)
Anyways, you probably shouldn't give it to me, I'll just mess it up... xD
Your awesome!! (I just forgot your name... sorry)
    Thanks!!

    ReplyDelete
  175. I have been following you for the past few months. I cannot believe I didn't know about this blog sooner. You have inspired me to create a "manicure station," which is a tower of drawers with all my nail art supplies neatly arranged in a "type A" manner. I have reviewed every blog since day one. It is hard to find people around me with the same interest in nail art as you and your followers. I have tried many ideas from you or your "groupies". I've met with much success, and unfortunately, some failures. Just an opportunity to learn! I am so glad you are not stopping after the year was up! If I had a Sally Hanson nail art pen, I'd draw a corset. I think the pen would be perfect for the laces.

    ReplyDelete
  176. I've been a follower ever since you were featured on the MSN daily news board. & Since I'm currently obsessed with Panda & bears, probably things that are related to animals. (:

    ReplyDelete
  177. I'm a follower through GFC, and I've been on the wagon sincee....April.

And if I could draw anything...I'd draw penises.
I know it's gross and I'm not supposed to, but I've always wanted to draw penises on my nails. I honestly don't know why, but it's what my heart desires.

  178. Hi, I've been following your blog for about 4 months old. I'm from mexico and is an experience to read and understand everything you write. But the best is when I see your creations. You are very talented!
The design that I would do would be several sentences in Latin, and I have some in mind. Or maybe some designs of the Mayan culture.
I have a blog in which no public, only the links I have my favorites, which I check daily.
I hope my English is good enough to be understood by you.
    A big hug.
    Greetings from Mexico.
