UPDATED TO ADD:
I'm more curious about the ones not as easily replicated. (i.e. sponged gradients, marbles, etc). Thanks again! :-) Don't forget all the earlier ones, too!
So I put this call out to you, my amazing readers…I'm curious, if you could have your nails like ANY of my nail designs so far, which would you choose? Tell me in the comment the ones that you NEED to have, perhaps just WANT, or are completely in LOVE with!
No, this isn't to boost my ego, I'm working on a project, and I'm too close to the blog, so I need outside eyes!!
XOXO

Coming from a Beatle freak myself, I'd have to go with your Beatles ones from a couple days ago.
ReplyDeleteHowever, all of your nail designs are love.

I absolutely love the marbled ones. After seeing one of your designs that was marbled I looked up videos till I learned how to do that for myself and have done it three times since then. I've gone out and bought several different colors of polish just so I could do the marbles.

ReplyDeleteI seem to be drawn to some of the 50's sorts of designs, like It's Cosmic and Atomic Wedgewood. I could NEVER recreate anything like that!
ReplyDeleteHm.. I liked
ReplyDeleteIt's Cosmic!
NO H8
The nerds one
and I think it was called "Sorry, its in the classifieds."
Definetly the camo design and the gradient designs and MARBLING!!! :) thanks
ReplyDeleteThe half-toned design is my favorite! Or, the cross hatch design. But, I'd love it more with a creme gray or purple-y grey background!
ReplyDeleteLet's Go Disco!
ReplyDeleteWorn...out.
Those are my absolute 2 favorites! I have done the Disco nails, freehand style.. but not the worn out one (yet..)
Oh, but they're all so amazing! But...um...I think the cross-hatching, Cut on the Dotted Line, Nerds, Dots (I obviously like candy), and mehndi designs are my favorites. But it's SO hard to pick when all your designs are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI would go back through them all if I had time, but the one that really sticks out in my mind as a possible favorite is the one that changes color in the sunlight. I loved the color (the in-sun color) and the design on it. I believe it was one of the stamped on designs on it.

ReplyDeleteI went back and looked at every single mani and found myself digging the mono and dichromatic ones the most. While I'm amazed at the really complicated manicures (like the planets which I LOVED!) I was really drawn to the simplest designs, especially those that had a retro feel to them.
ReplyDelete"Let's go Disco" <3

Just went through everything again and wow, you're the best! =D
All of the ones with faces, i.e. The Beatles, Dexter, Disney Villains, etc. It boggles my mind that you can paint those tiny faces so well!
ReplyDeleteI really loved the "Tulle" ~ with the brown and blue. Very pretty and if I had an iota of talent I would try to replicate it. I think you should try to get a book deal. Publish all of the designs with amazing photos and blurbs about what gave you the idea. Just like the blog but in a book. I would buy it and I'd buy it for my friends!
ReplyDeleteYour NINJA NAILS! Those were adorable! And I also like many of your chic, modern nails with the dots.
ReplyDeleteThe lightning bugs in jars were so awesome!
ReplyDeletei absolutely love the lightning bugs and the white nails with the black birdies. :)
ReplyDeleteThe acorns were pretty neat, and the presents you did for christmastime are ones that I TOTALLY wish I could do myself

ReplyDeletelove the chocolate dipped strawberries and m&ms
ReplyDeleteThe basket weave is incredible to me...every time that I look at in I am in awe. The shading, the perfect lines, everything...I'd love to rock that look. Even in different colors I feel like it could be awesome.
ReplyDeleteYou're the bomb dot com...so glad I've been able to follow this blog! It's the only blog I've ever followed, besides my little sisters. :)
I absolutely love the Murdered Out nails you did. Although it wasn't the most detailed nail design you've done, I find it so creative and pretty. I wish I could get my nails to look like that.
ReplyDeleteThe planet nails were incredible! I loved those!
ReplyDeleteI loved the nails called "Give 'em they ol' one tulle." They were really pretty. I also really liked the stained glass ones you did in honor of your grandfather. There are so many good ones to choose from.
ReplyDeleteGilded Gradients, and any marble ones. The colours are great! They are amazing, and its something you could wear everyday because they dont have a particular theme, picture or character on them, just a mixture of beautiful colours.
ReplyDeleteMummies from October 20
ReplyDeleteTie Dye from December 8
Pirate Map from September 19
hope this helps!
I did a Cheshire Cat manicure after seeing yours because I loved it! Marbled all fingers (purple and lilac) except my left thumb, on which I painted the cat's face from the whiskers to the chin. My first you-inspired design! Mine sucked, but it was based on something awesome :P I recently bought some makeup sponges after seeing your Gilded Gradients design from October 1. I'm going to try sponging soon... I hope it looks as cool as yours!
ReplyDeletep.s. If you click on my URL, it should show you a picture (albeit, a terrible one) of my Cheshire Cat nails. Sorry about the angle and glare, my dad was taking the pictures =/ Thanks for the inspiration!
I love the nails "Twilight" is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI'm Brazilian, and i love this blog. congratulations, and sorry my english.
VOCÊ É INCRÍVEL
Loved many of your designs, but the ones that stick in my memory as being filled with awesomeness: Pee Wee Nails, bacon nails Lthey're actually how I found you way back then), and the amazing dots/graphic test witht the different colors. Sorry my spelling sucks, its late and I am thumb typing on my droid.
ReplyDeleteNCIS nails!!
ReplyDeleteI love the Flintstone nails and the Pirates/Treasure Map nails! Your art work is truly incredible!
ReplyDeleteI'm not talented at all so I probably would never be able to replicate any of your designs. There ares so many I would love but I really want to do the ones that have the faded glitter over the top of a solid color. (do you even know what one i mean)
ReplyDeleteCrayola Crayons!
ReplyDeletemy absolute favorite is Mullet Mani, i love the design and the way it changes in the sunlight, just beautiful..
ReplyDeleteThe toy story 3 nails or the mac disney nails
ReplyDeleteI couldn't pick just one, or even 5. I find your work so amazing (I can barely paint my nails one color without looking like a five year old attacked me with a spray paint can). So, here are my top faves:
ReplyDeleteBeware the koopa troopa
Let me take you down
Just Breathe
mullet mani (the color change was spectacular)
Cross-hatching a plan, that base color is phenom.
Lovely lotus
A sparkle in my eye
Molten metals
Ulta-mate
i love the sponged gradients!!! they are so awesome but could be tame enough for an office environment and would work on my teeny tiny short nails!
ReplyDeleteThe Tie-Die One!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the planets - my dad is an astronomer, and he thought it was amazing!
ReplyDeleteI definately love gradients. I'm also crazy about the Shel Silverstein set. This is probably my favorite out of all the ones you've done so far. Now, if you could do Michigan J. Frog, you'd be my hero! :-)
ReplyDeleteI really like the penny and cleopatra one.... and especially the john lennon and the twilight ones very sharp!
ReplyDeleteThe "Start Spreading the News" NY themed nails. They are my inspiration. I actually attempted them on my blog if you want to check them out..
ReplyDeletethis was HARD! I would say my fav is Jeans, also love its a crime, and crime scene, those wud be my top fav's, but so many honorable mentions! here are my top favs: (I seem to favor the food ones, am I HUNGRY?) happy fryday, aint easy, violin, chippnails (HILARIOUS), sock it to me, smores, daily nails design, cheese it, bacon, no 2, picnic, trueblood, doublestuff, glee (despite the pornographic image lol) non smoking, camo, colts/saints, conversation hearts, drink me im irish, paper, the birds, hostess, tease, on memorial day, birthday, run for the border, app for that and hotdog.
ReplyDeleteMurdered Out was my favorite!!
ReplyDelete"I'm Sorry That's Classifieds" was definitely my fave. Great job on your 365 project! You should be so proud! :)
ReplyDeletethe space one! I think you named it "solar power" but they are all great!
ReplyDeleteI love that you did "Where the Sidewalk Ends"!!! 'Sick' is my favorite poem of all time. While I love all of the artwork you did, amazing btw, I would have loved to have seen the "The Nightmare before Christmas", I think you would do that awesomely!!! Thank you for sharing all year, it's been so fun!
ReplyDeleteI would love to learn how to do water marbling. I had never seen that technique before I saw it here, and it would be awesome to learn how to do it. My favorite manicure of yours is one you did a long time ago called"'In' Blossom." I love cherry blossoms and that manicure was my all-time favorite.
ReplyDeleteI liked the dots one because I could do it. I liked most of them, actually, or I wouldn't keep coming back here, but that one keeps coming to mind because it has so many variations, all different.
ReplyDeleteOops! You wanted to know which ones I'd like on my own fingers? I've been copying them all year, with variations! I'm copying your spiderwebs this Halloween, only in gold on lavender under an iridescent polish. I did gradients last week by cheating (I did 2 coats of different colors, then after they were dry buffed the top coat off half my nails so the lower coat showed through.) I copied your swirls like the bowling table nails, did shiny on matte in the same colors numerous times. I'll probably copy many more in the future. You are an inspiration!
