When Marilyn Monroe sang 'Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend', I don't think these are quite the diamonds that she had in mind...but I am in LOVE with them! I can't take credit for the idea- Andrea of Chickettes had something similar on her sample nail wheel at Cosmoprof, but in a regular gel, and I decided that it would look super rad AND fit today's 31 Day Nail Art Challenge if I added a touch of chrome. :D Hit the jump for more photos and to see what I used!

SAY HELLO TO MAH LITTLE FRENNN! Talk about a movie I never thought I'd like but totally loved. Who doesn't love that scene in Scarface when Al Pacino has the desk covered in cocaine, and blasts the door to pieces in one huge bang! Amazing. Such a classic movie. Raise your hand if you remember the California Raisins! I know I sure do! Whether a cartoon or more of a claymation sort of animation, I totally loved those guys. I even remember the little plastic figurines–from McDonald's, right? Well, to satisfy the purple theme, I had a few things on my list, but nothing felt right. Chris suggested the California Raisins, and it made me chuckle, so I went for it. It's not my favorite nail art I've done, I kinda rushed it because I got caught up watching that 'Harley & the Davidsons' mini-series tonight from 7 pm until 11 pm. Whoops. I struggled with blue. I was having the hardest time thinking of something that would be fun and different, and my mind kept thinking of the blues. Who best represents the blues? None other than the legend–BB King! I discovered from this one that I need to keep working on my portrait painting skills! I decided to do this design in all shades of blue and white, which made the portrait a little more difficult, too. Hit the jump for more information and photos!

My recent obsession is pins. Enamel pins. I can't get enough of them, I look on etsy, I look on Instagram. I am obsessed. One of my recent acquisitions is from a website called Little Arrow Shop, and they have the freakin' cutest pins (and other things)!
