It's nearly the end of May, we've just 'celebrated' the unofficial start to summer that is Memorial Day weekend, and it's time to break out those brights! (I mean, I'll break them out all year round, because I'm a damn rebel Dottie.) The latest collection from ORLY delivers on brights in a big way, giving us retina-searing shades of green, yellow, turquoise and coral that are grounded by deep, traditionally fall-inspired hues of slate and berry. I think it's safe to say I'll be using the collection this summer and well beyond–the extreme brights play nicely with the deeper tones, and boys and girls, these neons don't need undies. In just a few short weeks, we can see the latest in the Trolls family of movies featuring huge stars like Justin Timberlake, Ozzy Osbourne, and one of my personal favorites, James Corden! To celebrate the release of the new movie, China Glaze released their Trolls World Tour inspired collection, which is full of fun brights and just a touch of sparkle! I love the time with all the other bloggers - I leave feeling so energized and excited to be part of the blogging community here in Vegas! Despite the temperature of my hands never breaching a balmy -46°F, I LOVE thermal polishes. They may exist solely in the cold state when on my fingertips, but the fact that I know that there is another magical color hiding in that polish is enough for me. OH MAN. I am LOVING sassy Daenarys this season! She is killing me with these comebacks, and hopefully she'll soon be killing the Night King with a blade of Dragon Glass. (or at least someone from her armies will!)

I'll admit, I am a relative newcomer to Game of Thrones, but it doesn't make me any less obsessed with it! I binged the first 7 seasons a little over a year ago, and once I got past the first few episodes, I was 100% hooked! Best part of the entire series so far? Sansa growing a pair and feeding Ramsey to his dogs. That was 10000000% more satisfying than Joffrey's death and Cersei's walk of shame combined.

When I heard that one of my favorite makeup brands was collaborating with HBO to create a GoT collection, my heart started beating so fast, and OMG can I tell you the anxiety I had over the possibility of missing out on it! I decided to just go for it, and get the entire GoT vault, which contains a 20-shade eyeshadow palette, a 3-shade highlighter palette, 4 pencil eyeliners, 4 lipsticks, a cheek & lip stain, and last but not least, 2 brushes inspired by the swords of Jon Snow & Arya Stark. It had all the makings of a disaster day - I split the back of my pencil skirt up to my butt trying to do a Rockettes-style high kick in the ‘infinity’ mirrors at our second stop, Donald J Pliner, I broke a nail (the horror!!), and the flu was somewhere in our group, but no one knew it! (even the person who had it!) Still? I had an amazing day - I always do with these girls, and how can shopping – especially at the Forum Shops – EVER be anything but awesome?! What follows is our awesome day, and while I’ll be talking about my favorites from our stops, I don’t think of it as a gift guide as much as I consider it a ‘Treat Yo’self’ guide. Better yet? I've never been one of those people that absolutely love Christmas... I mean, I enjoy it; the lights, the cheer, egg nog... but really, I'm more of a Thanksgiving girl at heart. That said, I DO have an embarrassing love of terrible Christmas movies...I've already watched most of them that are currently available on Netflix, and there are no current pans to stop anytime soon. They're like bacon or chocolate for the heart, they're sometimes terrible for you, but always make you feel good. Some favorites? A Christmas Prince, The Spirit of Christmas, really anything with Christmas in the title. What are your favorites? Tell me in the comments- I always need to add to the watchlist!
