Psssst-Your Zipper's Undone!

Day 96

For today's nails I wanted to make it look like the black polish (or red) was unzipping to bare skin. I did the red zippered nail as a tribute to the late, great MJ.

I used Urban Outfitters Matte Nude 3 as a base, with OPI for Sephora What's a Tire Jack? Matte for the black, and China Glaze Salsa for the red, and China Glaze Millennium for the zipper. Topped off the black and red with Seche Vite top coat to give it a patent leather look, but left the nude color matte, like skin. :-)

Zip it good.

  1. i love it and your blog! i love nailpolish and i have so much, but you probably have so much more. i just found your blog a couple weeks ago. i think this is really cool what your doing! i love all the different designs! your so creative.

  2. so cool - what great ideas

  3. Ah, it almost looks painful! But so imaginitive and awesome!

  4. Very cool! Like how you've done your pinkie red, makes it stand out

  5. Sweetness! I saw something like this in vogue, and I loveeeee 'em

  6. OK this probably doesn't seem normal for a 26 year old guy to be reading a nail polish blog. But I came across the picture of the zippers undone and my first instinct was to check my own fly... and I'm not even wearing pants! TMI probably but your dedication is impressive nonetheless. Keep it up!

  7. This is a great inspiring article.I am pretty much pleased with your good work. You put really very helpful information.
